Woods progressing ahead of British Open.
Tiger Woods admits that it is still a work in progress but feels that the signs are there that he could produce the goods and win the AT&T National.
The world number one arrives in Pennsylvania as the defending champion after a one-stroke victory over Hunter Mahan last year, but remains without a victory in 2010.
However, he was in contention at the recent US Open following a good display and knows that cutting out some small mistakes could ensure a 72nd PGA Tour victory.
Woods said: "During a stretch at the US Open I put together about 12 really good holes, and it's something I hadn't done all year.
"Things are starting to come around, which is nice to see. It's just a matter of just getting more and more consistent with what I'm working on and putting together better rounds."
Jim Furyk, Justin Rose and Rickie Fowler will be among his challengers at Aronimink Golf Club as they look to gain momentum ahead of next month's British Open at St Andrews.
